ID FORMS INTO THE EXTENSION OFFICE BY MAY 15, 2011. Completed class entry forms are to be turned into your 4-H leaders before June 30, 2011. FFA members send them directly to the fair office in Grinnell before June 30, 2011. All entries must be received in the fair office by 5 p.m., July 1, 2011.
NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER JULY 8, 2011.
All reproductively intact goats (does, bucks) that are exhibited must be tagged with the Scrapie program tags. Registered goats may use officially approved unique tattoo numbers instead of Scrapie ear tags provided certificates of veterinary inspection include documentation of participation in the Scrapie program. These animals should be tagged just prior to leaving your flock/herd. If you have any questions contact your veterinarian.

No health papers are required. Official fair vet will be available for inspection at fairgrounds.

Entries must be owned by the exhibitor (see Livestock Department rule # 2 for exceptions) and properly identified with tattoos or ear tag with their livestock ID’s in the Extension Office by May 15, 2011. If kids are born after May 15, 2011 the doe must be identified on the ID by May 15, 2011 and the Extension Office should be notified when the kid(s) are born.
